Derek Callahan

Attorney / Mediation & ADR

Derek Callahan brings an uncommon combination to the firm — a legal background from the University of New Mexico School of Law paired with real-world experience as an entrepreneur. He has worked hands-on with financial management, corporate structuring, and administrative compliance, which means he understands business disputes from the inside out — not just as legal abstractions. Derek focuses his practice on mediation and alternative dispute resolution, helping clients find practical solutions to conflicts without the cost and uncertainty of litigation. Outside the law, he has a long track record of connecting artists with economic opportunities and a genuine passion for education — both as a student and as a teacher.
